Artist Description
Milton is a singer/songwriter who aims to convey the aching wonder of life in New York City. His songs are rooted in American rhythm and blues, realized by the Milton Band, a rootsy sextet. Milton's new eponymous CD is currently getting spin on KCRW in Los Angeles, WFUV radio in New York, and many stations in between. The band recently appeared as guests of Vin Scelsa's legendary "Idiot's Delight" program in addition to John Platt's City Folk Sunday Breakfast. The Milton Band has shared bills with Norah Jones, Yo La Tengo, Shelby Lynne and Jamie Cullum. Milton's "In The City," a song called "one of the most visceral rock songs you'll ever hear" by Men's Health magazine, was featured on a Relix compilation CD of rising talent.
