Singer/Songwriter Chester Gregory is carving his own niche in the R&B male vocalist category. His previous credits include the eight Tony Award winning Broadway hit musical, "Hairspray" (where he played "Seaweed") and the title role in "The Jackie Wilson Story." Chester has a 5 octave range. His lyrics have been described as poetically poignant, provocatively thoughtful, and captivating. He holds his own and fills a gap in today's recording industry. He is described as a cross between John Legend and Usher, with influence from Prince, Donny Hathaway and the great Jackie Wilson himself. He gives meaningful, heartfelt songs that present profound messages without being preachy, and at the same time provides a high, uncompromising performance level.
