13P is Sheila Callaghan, Erin Courtney, Madeleine George, Rob Handel, Ann Marie Healy, Julia Jarcho, Young Jean Lee, Winter Miller, Sarah Ruhl, Katherine Ryan, Lucy Thurber, Anne Washburn, & Gary Winter.
13P has been recognized with an Obie Grant, the James Kirkwood Award of the Dramatists Guild Fund "for fostering and promoting the work of contemporary American playwrights," profiles in Backstage, The Village Voice, and The New York Sun, and panel discussions at SPF, the CUNY Graduate Center, and the Yale School of Drama. The members of 13P include a Macarthur "Genius Grant" recipient, two Whiting Writers Award recipients, two Helen Merrill Award recipients, a Jerome Fellow, a Susan Smith Blackburn Award winner, four veterans of the Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival, three veterans of the O'Neill Playwrights Conference, two Manhattan Theatre Club Fellows, and two Princess Grace Award winners.

13P put on this production (Have You Seen Steve Steven - also directed by the prestigious Anne Kauffman) at the 14th Street Theater. I saw it and thought it was phenomenal! This is a group to look out for - they take plays that normally wouldn't get past the "reading/workshop phase" - a phase that has many-a-time killed a play's momentum - and give them life, bringing them to the stage in unforgettable and (aesthetically, intellectually, emotionally) stimulating ways.
