Legendary Jamaican dub master in Sweden when he was 13 years old, Ilhan Ersahin, bassist Jesse Murphy, a young California native who would become bassist with Brazilian Girls, and drummer Kenny Wollesen of Tom Waits renown make up The Love Trio. Their music that defies genre. Borrowing from the dub and rock steady beats of Ilhan's earliest influences, the various keyboards and electronica adds to Love Trio's oeuvre, alongside the jazz legacy of Ilhan's childhood and the sonorities of his ancestral Turkey. The result: varying styles that broaden the possibilities of Ilhan's composition and trio's improvisation.
