The dynamic young violinist Daniel Hope celebrates his Deutsche Grammophon debut release of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. As a musician and a citizen of the world, the eclectic violinist Daniel Hope is hard to pin down. His résumé includes the premiere recordings of new editions of the violin concertos of Berg and Mendelssohn...membership in the venerable Beaux Arts Trio; collaboration with Stewart Copeland of The Police, experiments with jazz and Indian ragas; and collaborations with actors including Klaus Maria Brandauer and Mia Farrow.
