Nicole Parker

Artist Description

After graduating from Indiana University in 2000, Nicole Parker won a spot with Boom Chicago, where she wrote and performed in two critically acclaimed revues: Europe, We've Created a Monster! and Rockstars. Among the notable troupe performers with whom Nicole worked were fellow future MADtv cast members Ike Barinholtz, Josh Meyers, and Jordan Peele.

In 2003, along with several friends from Indiana University, Nicole founded an improvisational theater company called Waterwell Productions, a group that specializes in performing old works in a manner that resonates with contemporary audiences. That same year, she got a call from the producers of the sketch comedy series Madtv, and as a result, became a featured player during Season 9, not to mention an immediate fan favorite. In Season 10, Nicole became a regular MADtv cast member, lending her special variety of impressions and characters to the series. Parker's most noteworthy characters include Inside Looking Out host Pat-Beth LaMontrose and the carefree yet naive Disney Girl.

In 2007, along with Martin Short and several other stage veterans, Nicole starred on Broadway in Fame Becomes Me. As of 2008, Nicole will be appearing in the comedic-spoof film Meet the Spartans, and has now become the longest serving lead actress on Madtv.
