Laura IziborBorn and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Laura Izibor at just 20 years old Laura is about to open her recording career, with the highly anticipated release of her debut album "Let The Truth Be Told" via Atlantic Records USA. The album, which Laura wrote 100% herself and also co-produced, was recorded in Dublin, London, New York, Atlanta and Philadelphia and will be released October 2008.
Already seasoned in the live performance arena Laura has undertaken numerous sold out Irish shows and invitations were also accepted to open for such luminaries as Angie Stone, James Brown, The Roots and Al Green. Laura has just finished recording her debut album and has already secured several music placements on TV & Movies including writing and performing the lead track for The Nanny Diaries, "PS. I Love You", Tyler Perry’s "Why Did I Get Married", "Step Up 2, The Streets" as well as the hit TV show’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy,' 'American Idol,' 'So You Think You Can Dance,' music and video footage is available on line! and a live solo EP is now available on iTunes.
