"WILLIE WALDMAN PROJECT & GENT TREADLY embark on a tour with JIM
LOUGHLIN OF moe. Memphis Willie Waldman, moe's Jim Loughlin and NYC's
Gent Treadly will bring their improvisational Project on a run of East
Coast dates this spring.
As the group's name implies, the leader of the band is trumpeter par
excellence Willie Waldman who most recently has collaborated with the
Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh and has played with everyone from Snoop Dog
& Tupac to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Waldman's eclectic resume is
reflective of the diverse styles his band will bring on this jaunt.
Co-founder of the seminal art rock band Banyan, along with Stephen
Perkins of Janes Addiction, Waldman's recent travels with rock royalty
are part of a long trip with a movable feast of great musicians. The
lineup for the Spring tour will include Waldman and frequent
collaborators Jim Loughlin of jam juggernaut moe. on drums as well as
Gent Treadly on bass (Dark Star Orchestra, Vince Welnick Band) and Suke
Cerulo (Schleigho, Lynch) on guitar.
