A
"rootsy and soulful" (Time Out, London), bluesy rock n’ roll band from
Brooklyn, The Ramblers are John Embree, Caz Ishijima, and Jeremiah Birnbaum,
with David Immerglück (Counting Crows, John Hiatt) and Mark Marshall on
additional electric guitar. The band’s members hale from such New Jersey,
Arkansas and Saitama, Japan. Their new album is set to be released in
Spring 2008, recorded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at Monkeyboy Studios with
engineer/producer Brian Fulk (Martha & Rufus Wainwright, Teddy Thompson,
Willie Nile, Marc Ribot), featuring the guitar work of David Immerglück and
Mark Marshall. Appearances have included many independent clubs/venues
and major festivals, including the Midwest Music Summit (Indianapolis),
MidPoint Music Festival (Cincinnati), and the Dewey Beach Music Festival
(Delaware).
