Carmel Conway is one of the most exciting talents to emerge from Ireland in a number of years. With her debut album, This Beautiful Day now available on her website, the album is set for a US and Canadian release in Fall 2008.Playing her first date at Joe’s, after a series of highly successful shows in Los Angeles, Monterey and New York in addition to her guest appearances with The Chieftains in Los Angeles and Philadelphia in Feb/March this year, Carmel is well on the way to developing her name and profile internationally.
This Beautiful Day was produced and arranged by the renowned Fiachra Trench (Elvis Costello, Van Morrison, The Corrs and many more) and with exciting times ahead, Limerick’s best kept secret may soon be a household name.
