Crash-landing in the early Summer of '08 from its own unique corner of the pop universe, Chicago-based Mexican-American band Allá are releasing their lush, multi-layered debut album "Es Tiempo", which reflects the band's broad gamut of musical interests: think Krautrock+Motown+cosmic jazz+Mexican trio music+Tropicalia+Phil Spector live. Allá perform as a 6-piece, with keyboard, bass & percussion players joining the 3 core members (producer/guitarist Jorge Ledezma, Angel Ledezma on drums, and vocalist/guitarist Lupe Martinez.
