Artist Description
Tom Kitt is the composer and co-orchestrator of High Fidelity (Broadway) and Next to Normal (Second Stage), which received the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best New Score (Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Drama League nominations). He composed the original music for From Up Here (MTC), and his songs with the Tom Kitt Band (www.tomkittband.com) have been featured in film and TV (Dawson's Creek). Currently, Tom is the musical director and pianist/conductor for the new Broadway musical, 13. As a musical director, conductor, and arranger, Tom has worked on several other Broadway and Off-Broadway shows including Laugh Whore, Urban Cowboy and Debbie Does Dallas.
