Lee Ann Westover is best known as the lead singer of a string of cult favorite bands based out of New York: The Lascivious Biddies, Strange Cargo, and the Camaros.  On Tuesday May 26th she will stretch her wings and fly solo at Joe's Pub, playing highlights from her decade-long career as a performer and songwriter in New York City - as well as new additions to her catalog. To keep from getting lonely, she may invite a few surprise guests onstage to join her!

Speaking of surprises, Lee Ann unconventional show is full of them. Equal parts sincere, snarky, original and interpreted, her playful style incorporates elements of everything from pop to grunge to Broadway. She's just as likely to cover a 80's Synthpop classic as she is to belt out a Cole Porter number. A lover of lands both near and far, Miss Westover will remind you why you chose to be a New Yorker, and why you should still travel the world every once in a while if you want to be a good one.
