Artist Description

On and Off-Broadway, Michael has starred in the Roundabout Theater Company and Deaf West's BIG RIVER as Tom Sawyer, Twyla Tharp and Bob Dylan's THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN’,  BARE a pop opera, IT'S ONLY LIFE; the music of John Bucchino, SWIMMING IN THE SHALLOWS, PIPPIN (LA Drama Critics Nomination), ACE and the World AIDS Day concerts of PIPPIN and THE SECRET GARDEN. His television credits include starring in THE RETURN OF JEZEBEL JAMES, CASHMERE MAFIA, GREY'S ANATOMY and NUMB3RS. Film work includes THE GOOD SHEPHERD, UNDERGROUND and will appear in the upcoming Fox Feature,  BRIDE WARS starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.  Past concerts include BARBRA STREISAND’S EUROPEAN TOUR, FEINSTEIN’S at the REGENCY, BROADWAY UNDER THE STARS and JOE’S PUB. Most recently, Michael recently assistant directed the Broadway musical A TALE OF TWO CITIES and appeared as himself in the hilarious, sold-out PARTY 'N PLAY at JOE'S PUB. As a composer, Michael's musical EASTER RISING was given a concert reading at JOE'S PUB and his songs have been included in GYPSY OF THE YEAR and at numerous concerts. A Presidential Scholar in the Arts, Michael received his training at THE JUILLIARD SCHOOL.
