Artist Description
Rebecca Fanya has performed at Madison Square Garden with Marc Anthony, layed down studio vocals with Harry Belafonte, sang for luminaries such as Maya Angelou, and performed backup with the B-52's and Angelique Kidjo. Uniting music with causes close to her heart, Rebecca's song Paper Airplanes can be found on the Burma benefit album "For The Lady" alongside Coldplay, Ani DiFranco, Bright Eyes, Paul McCartney and more. She is releasing her debut album of soulful folk titled "Rebecca Fanya." The album was produced by Todd Sickafoose (Ani DiFranco, Trey Anastasio), and features musicians such as Mark Stewart (Paul Simon), Jenny Scheinman (Lucinda Williams, Bill Frisell), and Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls.
