Artist Description
The New York Times called the JACK Quartet's performance of Iannis Xenakis' complete string quartets one of the "most memorable classical music presentations of 2008," and now the group celebrates its new recording of these works, the first-ever complete recording of Xenakis' string quartets, released on CD and DVD by Mode Records. In addition to music by Xenakis, the JACK Quartet will perform works by New York composers Jeff Myers, Elliott Sharp, and Kevin Keller.
