Artist Description
Following the release of his debut EP, 'Daylight', Matt Doyle is thrilled to return to Joe's Pub. This stripped, acoustic set of Matt's music will highlight songs from 'Daylight' and Matt's forthcoming follow-up EP, 'Sunset'. Matt will be joined by his co-writer, Will Van Dyke, and numerous surprise guests.
All proceeds from the show will benefit Broadway Impact, a non-profit organization of theatre artists and fans mobilized in support of marriage equality. Founded in 2008 by Tony-nominated performers Rory O'Malley (Book of Mormon), Gavin Creel (HAIR) and Production Coordinator Jenny Kanelos, BROADWAY IMPACT works to educate and inspire the theatre community into action. www.broadwayimpact.com
On the day of its release, 'Daylight', broke the Top 40 on the iTunes pop charts. Co-written by composer/musical director, Will Van Dyke, 'Daylight' draws inspirations from the golden age of soul music.
Doyle joined the original cast of Spring Awakening on Broadway at the age of 19. As an actor, Matt continues to work on Broadway (currently appearing in War Horse) and is also known for his recurring role as Jonathan on The CW's Gossip Girl. Matt has performed to sold-out audiences in New York's hottest venues, including Le Poisson Rouge, and Feinstein's at the Regency.

I to enjoyed the song "When Your Old Wedding Ring Was New" which Matt sang in the movie "Once More With Feeling". I have looked for the song and have not been able to find it. I would love to have a version for my son's wedding in October for the parents of the Bride and Groom dance. Any help would be appreciated.

A Matt Doyle song
At the end of the movie "Once More With Feeling" Matt Doyle sings "When Your Old Wedding Ring Was New". It is one of my top five favorite songs of all time but I have never heard it sung more beautifully than Matt's rendition. I have tried to find a copy but cannot. Any idea where I can get a copy of this song by Matt?

Congrats Matt on an incredible show last night. It was absolutely amazing!!! You song set list was awesome as well as your guests too. I loved "Falling Slowly"...it was beautiful.
