Jim Beavers, whose former 'day jobs' include Capitol Records executive and college professor, celebrated his first no. 1 single in 2007 with Gary Allan's "Watching Airplanes." The younger brother of hit writer Brett Beavers, Jim has also enjoyed success with Dierks Bentley's "How Am I Doin'" and "Sideways," as well as Brad Paisley's "Mr. Policeman". Beaver's most recent hits include Billy Currington's "Don't" and Dierks Bentley's "Trying to Stop Your Leaving."
