His first solo show at Joe's Pub since his sold-out appearances in 2008-2009, multi instrumental singer/songwriter Geo Wyeth (fka Novice Theory) takes a break from mixing his upcoming album with experimental rock band JIVE GRAVE to present some of his new "heartfelt, otherwordly tunes" (The New York Times Magazine) on grand piano, guitar, and vocals. After spending 2009 as the Composer-in-Resdence at Ars Nova, Geo is thrilled to be back at Joe's for an evening of intimate songs and stories, featuring his warm soulful voice and Dylan-esque lyricism. As part of the show, he will be premiering excerpts from his new Arguments & Meditations for Saxophone & Voice, a series of songs based on the colloquial speech rhythms of New Yorkers.
