Benyoro
(which means meeting place in the Bambara language) plays West African
Maninka and Bambara music that comes out of centuries of tradition, but
has been updated and transformed into a sound that is unstoppably
danceable. This is the sound of modern West Africa, as meditative
tradition meets raucous dance music, and traditional instruments mingle
with guitar, bass, and drums.
