Bending the rules, exploring the untried and defying the standard, Dancenow|NYC offers a way to experience dance that is welcoming, relevant and fun. For more than 2 decades, Dancenow|NYC has followed its own path, embracing the unconventional to seek out new means to promote, challenge and develop the artistic careers of a wide genre of choreographers and to connect new audiences to dance.

Inspired by Irving Berlin's music from Annie Get Your Gun, the June event features The Bang Group with several guest artists. Working with the structure and movement invention rather than the well-known musical's narrative Parker is exploring new possibilities in the subject matter that have to do with show business, gender, competition and love
