Artist Description

DJ Panko is a FUNKALQUIMIST, he selects new electronic beats such as breakbeat, drum&bass, and dub, and creatively infuses them with Flamenco, Asian beats and African dance music. A tapestry of tempos, styles, concepts and funky beats in a raw state of an inquisitive Latin mind give the audience a music trip over the roots of dance music. Always seeking to surprise with his sessions and to differ from the conventional dj scene, Panko has successfully created a new world standard.

Comprised of three well-seasoned professionals involved in numerous facets of America's international music industry, Globesonic are proving the world is at the touch of everyone's fingertips...and hips. Currently holding a monthly party at East Village hotspot Nublu, they established a following through an initial residencies at Paisley, Joe's Pub, Groovejet, and SOB's. GlobeSonic has promoted this musical aesthetic at clubs, festivals and special events.
