Native New Yorker Rachelle Garniez is known as "...a master of surprise." (Entertainment Weekly) and "...a certified free spirit." (The New Yorker).

Songwriter/singer/musician/performer and composer, Rachelle has collaborated with a wide variety of artists including The Citizens Band, Taylor Mac, Marvin Sewell, Jack White and Sxip Shirey. Her songs have been recorded by Karen Elson, Catherine Russell, and Ingrid Lucia & the Flying Neutrinos among others.

I was so amused by Rachelle Garniez. She was amazing and inspired me a lot. That was my first time in Joe’s Pub and I really had a good time. Though I am just a visitor here, I hope I still have a chance to hear her one day. ;)

I was completely blown away by Rachelle's storytelling, arrangements and charm the first time I saw her at Joe's Pub, and I'm looking forward to hear what she has in store next Saturday.
