On this special night at Joe's Pub, Lisa Shaw will be making a rare appearance with her full live band. She'll be performing songs from her "brilliant and wickedly diverse" (DJ Times) debut CD Cherry, released by Naked Music and produced by Jay "Blue Six" Denes & Eric Stamile. Her sound combines elements of house, R&B, funk and electronica, but might best be described as a reinvention of sweet, simple soul. Lisa is well known in the deep house world, having performed globally with such artists as Miguel Migs, Andy Caldwell, Fred Everything, Jask and JT Donaldson. Look out for the second single from Cherry - "Born To Fly" - to be released this summer.
