Dancenow/NYC's DancemOpolitan presents: Southern Comfort, hosted by the dynamic and hilarious Monica Bill Barnes and Deborah Lohse. Choreographers Gina Gibney, John Heginbotham, Paul Singh, Zachary Morris, Jason and Lindsey Dietz and Mary Ann Wall offer a wide range of work inspired by country music stars and legends, Johnnie Cash, Tom Waits, Dolly Pardon, Patsy Cline, The Useless Bastards and more, including live music by The Dang-It Boys.

Dancenow/NYC's new country music series follows the overwhelming success its rock n'roll series, Thrash n 'Rock [June 2006], Fraulein Maria based on The Sound of Music [December 2006] and its latin music series, Mojito [March 2007].
