Ralph's World, the creation of indie rocker and songwriter Ralph Covert, is a mega-fun musical planet rocketing through the Disney universe. We all know Ralph Covert as the high-energy front-man of his Chicago-based band, The Bad Examples. Ralph toured internationally behind a half-dozen records released since 1991 and scored radio hits both in the States and abroad – most notably "Not Dead Yet" which was contemporaneously covered by Styx. Then with the birth of his daughter, Ralph went in a new direction. Covert and the four-man rock n'roll Ralph's World band have brought their innovative "kindie rock" to venues across the country on their coast-to-coast House of Blues tour. Covert utlilizes the same enthusiasm and super-melodic approach in his children's music - only the lyrics are changed for the ears of the innocent! His McCartneyesque style has won over hundreds of thousands of four-feet-and-under fans and their parents. The live Ralph's World band is anchored by Ralph's longtime lead guitarist Tom O'Brien, Brian Sheridan of Middle 8, and Michael Alban, formerly of Jonasay. The touring band's infectious camaraderie adds to the revival atmosphere, where thousands of young voices shout along and dance with reckless abandon.
