In honor of the day of possibility that only exists once every four years, Lance Horne (Dresden Dolls, Little Women) presents an oasis of artists premiering new material across the genres and performing covers as you’ve never heard them.  Come celebrate Leap Year, and bring a list of your dreams to come true.  

Downtown impresario Scotty the Blue Bunny and ‘round-the-world circus chicks The Wau Wau Sisters will join in the LEAP festivities, which promise to include everything from opera to musicals to rock, including:
*the first peek at footage from the upcoming feature film, Ready? OK! starring Carrie Preston (Transamerica, Desperate Housewives) and Michael Emerson (Lost, Gross Indecency)
*a preview from the Spring run of Horne’s Three Lost Chords
*the latest from the upcoming Nerve Ensemble Vegas floorshow-cum-Broadway extravaganza, The $trip, with choreography by Tiger Martina (Movin’ Out, Liza Minnelli in Concert),

fellow Juilliard grad Valerie Geffner (Queenie in Love, creator of Antenna- a pop opera)& Debra Barsha (composer of Radiant Baby, appearing in Jersey Boys), who will premiere a number written with Horne from one of their dream projects.

In the spirit of presenting material in the newest light, LEAP will feature rising talents Natalie Weiss (Penn State class of ’07), Jessica Hershberg (U of M class of ’08), Adrian Lidonni (Circle in the Square class of ’08), and Brittany Murphy (Tisch class of ’09).

The band will feature Dave Berger on drums, Amy Kohn on accordion, Randy Redd on keys and vocals, Malcolm Gold on bass, Elizabeth Derham on violin, and Horne on piano and vocals.
