Come join Elisa for her U.S. premier!

A major star in her native Italy, Elisa will perform songs from her six best-selling pop albums and her upcoming debut in the U.S., entitled Dancing, which will be released by Sugar Records in June 2008.

Elisa’s pure, angelic voice and gift for melody first came to the attention of American audiences last year when her song “Dancing” was featured on Fox’s hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance. An ethereal, emotional ballad, “Dancing” hit No. 16 on the iTunes Top 20 Songs chart immediately following the show’s broadcast. A three-song EP featuring the song is currently available for purchase on iTunes.

“Dancing” may have been American audiences’ first brush with the singer, but Elisa has already enjoyed an impressive career abroad. In 1997, she released her debut album Pipes & Flowers, which went triple-platinum in Italy. A succession of best-selling discs followed, including Asile’s World, Then Comes the Sun, the acoustic collection Lotus, Pearl Days, which was produced by Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette, Annie Lennox), and Soundtrack '96-'06 — a collection of her hit singles that has sold more than half a million copies.

Elisa has also sung at the Winter Olympics closing ceremony in Salt Lake City, dueted with Luciano Pavarotti at Pavarotti & Friends, and recorded a duet with Tina Turner entitled "Teach Me Again," for the 2005 film All the Invisible Children — a collaboration featuring work by Spike Lee and John Woo. In July 2007, she dueted with Andrea Bocelli at the "Teatro del silenzio" in Lajatico, Italy and performed “Dancing.”

Elisa, your music has been part of my life for the past 11 years! Right when I moved to USA, you've always been with me, and now I can finally enjoy listening to your wonderful voice in my adoptive Country and in the City that welcomed me the first time! I really hope NYC gives you the same luck that has been given to me! As Frank says: "if I can make it there, I can make it anywere, it's up to you New York" Love always

Peccato che non si fa piu' il concerto, ero gia' organizzato per partire dall'Italia il 23 e tornare il 29,ma se si fa piu' avanti sarei pronto per ripartire.Rimaniamo tutti in attesa della prossima data,un abbraccio da un tuo fun ,Corrado
