Australian singer/pianist Monique diMattina has performed her music internationally for over 10 years - recent highlights include gigs with Lou Reed, Queen's Brian May/Roger Taylor, various international Jazz festivals and regular appearances in Manhattan's East Village.

She toured extensively as Jazz-standard vocalist, crisscrossing the world, while recording three internationally released CDs. Then suddenly, in early 2006 she began to write her own songs. They were no longer “jazz tunes” though they kept remains of her early jazz influences – these new songs were so gratifying to compose and play that she has now undertaken the much more daunting endeavor of performing her own material in some indefinable genre.
