The Persuasions are now in their 45th year as America’s foremost acapella singing group. They have produced 25 CDs ranging from a children’s and Christmas recording to their more recent series of tribute albums: U-2; The Beatles; Frank Zappa; and the Grateful Dead. They are most famous for their eclectic recordings made throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s, which were a mixture of blues, rock, gospel, soul, and doo-wop. All these years later they are proud to say “We still ain’t got no band.”
