The kickoff begins at Joe's Pub. Join us for a night of "Real.Live.Talent" - a soulful, funky, jazzy, hip hop blend of vocalists, poets, and musicians. Jamming this night are Mo Beasley, Maritri and The Soul Folk Experience, Saddi Khali, Tulani Kinard, Chanda Rule, and others!
Highlights: Nana Camille Yarbrough takes a bow as recipient of the first Founder's Award. Proceeds benefit ARTISTS FOR LIFE, the non-profit division of AKILA WORKSONGS, dedicated to assisting NYC artists in need.
