And one great way of finding out about what's going on is the show Political Subversities which takes everything that's in our news and culture and makes it into a raucous, feisty, irreverent, half-insane buffet of song, spoken word and yes, even dance. The group has been together for over a year now and the ensemble work is as smooth and daring as acrobats playing with rings of fire. Or something like that. The group writes, composes and performs its own material, and their youth brings a unique edge and perspective that creates a great mix with Elizabeth Swados' years of trouble-making and experience. If you don't come, you're letting the terrorists win. Again.
