Meow Meow has wowed audiences with her own brand of contemporary opera, vamped-up kitsch, kamikaze kabaret and exotica performance art around the globe.
Meow has played all over the world including The Famous Spiegeltent at the Dublin, Brighton and Melbourne Festivals. She shared the bill with such luminaries as Hanna Schygulla, Antony and the Johnsons, Sandra Bernhardt and Diamanda Galas. She’s the recipient of numerous awards including two DAAD fellowships for theatre in Berlin, the Paris residency at the Cite des Arts, and most recently the Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art Award (New York).
Meow Meow collaborates next with China's most controversial contemporary dancer, and first acknowledged transsexual, Jin Xing in Shanghai. And Tonight at Joe's, she is joined by the illustrious Lance Horne.
