Show Description
After a year of tremendously entertaining shows at NYC's premier indie-rock hot-spots, the rapidly emerging Brooklyn band Kind Monitor (aka KM) hits the stage at Joe's Pub for a summer-time EP album release party and live show. The band's first mini-album of songs will include studio versions of audience favorites "End of the Game," "Cairo," and "Somebody Saves" (live versions will played at the show). Blogged about as an "engaging" band with a "dynamic stage presence," Kind Monitor has become known around New York for top- notch live shows, delicate song-writing, and intricately melodic bass- lines. And after a residency at Pete's Candy Store and two standing room only shows at Monkeytown, a party at Joe's Pub to celebrate KM's first studio EP is natural progression for this classy yet down-to- earth band. Look for some special guests to appear on-stage throughout the night.
