The Country Music Association Songwriters Series Celebrates the CMA Awards Performances from CMA Award-winning songwriters including Craig Morgan, Brett James, Hillary Lindsey and Host Bob BiPiero.
This special show will feature Craig Morgan. Craig is one of country music's best-loved artists, having made a name for himself with massive radio airplay of his signature hits, including "Almost Home”, "Redneck Yacht Club," and "That's What I Love About Sunday"--which spent five weeks at #1 and was Billboard's Most Played Country Song of the Year in 2005.
Bob DiPiero is one of Nashville's most consistent and prolific writers of hits, and he remains at the top of his profession more than two decades after hitting #1 on the charts for the first time in 1983. His long string of hits includes the Oak Ridge Boys’ "American Made," Montgomery Gentry's “If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” Vince Gill's "Worlds Apart," Shenandoah's "The Church On Cumberland Road," Ricochet's "Daddy's Money," George Strait "Blue Clear Sky," Brooks & Dunn's "You Can’t Take the Honky Tonk Out Of the Girl," and Martina McBride's "There You Are."
Brett James has written for Leona Lewis, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Bon Jovi, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Backstreet Boys, Chicago, Martina McBride, Jewel, Rascal Flatts, Wynonna, Sara Evans, Josh Gracin, Paulina Rubio, Pat Green, Lonestar, Jason Aldean, Leann Womack, Jodee Messina, Billy Currington, Jessica Andrews, Mark Wills, Jake Owen, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lorrie Morgan, Boris, Marco Borsato, Engelbert Humperdinck and others. Brett has also been producing Jessica Simpson’s debut country album and is producing American Idol’s Kristy Lee Cook debut record.
Hillary Lindsey is one of Nashville's most esteemed songwriters. Lindsey has penned hits for Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, Faith Hill, and many others. With a broad range of cuts, multiple #1 hits and a Grammy award for "Country Song of the Year" under her belt, this small town Georgia girl has made a big mark in Nashville.
