Singer/Songwriter, Marlo Marron returns to Joe's Pub tonight after three previously sold out performances to celebrate the release of her second album, "Stay With Me Awhile", produced by Stuffy Shmitt. Ms. Marron has found the power of simplicity in telling a story through sound. Her soulful execution of original folk/pop songs on "Stay With Me Awhile" mesmerizes and soothes through the beautiful musicianship of its players and the lush, smoky sound of Marlo's voice. The gifted players on her album and the 6-piece ensemble accompanying her tonight include members of Bruce Springsteen's E Street band, the Suzanne Vega band and the group Hem. The night promises to unveil the timelessness and poignant sparseness of Marlo's compositions and to move the listener's heart.
