Dennis Lambert

Dennis Lambert

Show Description

The most unique comeback story of the year. Award-winning songwriter/producer Dennis Lambert was one of the most successful and diverse hitmakers of the '70s and '80s, with hits like "Ain't No Woman (Like The One I've Got)", "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Baby Come Back", "Don't Pull Your Love," "One Tin Soldier" and "Nightshift". He's had #1 songs in almost every genre of music; he's worked with artists as varied as The Four Tops, Glen Campbell, The Commodores and Ziggy Marley; his records have been sampled by everyone from 2Pac to Jay-Z to Erik B. & Rakim. Simply, Dennis Lambert's songs are modern classics.

Following sold-out gigs at L.A.'s Viper Room and Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, Dennis Lambert comes to Joe's Pub to celebrate the NYC Premiere of the award-winning documentary film "Of All The Things", about his triumphant 2007 tour of the Philippines, where his 1972 solo album 'Bags And Things' is wildly popular. At this special, one-night-only showcase, he'll be re-inventing hits from his long songwriting career and "debuting" songs from "Bags And Things". Gonna be some sweet sounds coming down.
