Jose Conde y Ola Fresca bring their rootsy, funky, 21st century Cuba centric Latin dance music back to Joes Pub following their sold-out show earlier this year celebrating the release of the acclaimed album (R ) Evolución, (PiPiKi Records). Produced by Grammy winner Aaron Levinson the record features mostly new songs/arrangements by Conde and an interesting array of special guests like New Orleans funk legend Zigaboo Modeliste (of The Meters) on drums and Cuban trombone master Generoso Jimenez (Beny More') and others with his standout band Ola Fresca (fresh wave).
