“Priceless...Terrific”
-NEW YORK TIMES
“Domingo gives a master class in losing himself in a character”
-THEATERMANIA
“He masters the mix of pain and dignity in a man who can be neither himself nor like everyone else”
-VARIETY
"Driven by plentiful soul recordings and impressively executed comic dance sequences, Colman Domingo's solo autobiographical memoir of growing up in a Philadelphia row house is a sweet, funny and genuinely poignant portrait of a sometimes problematic but loving African American family. This world premiere catches hold with Domingo's versatile and beautifully limned performance."
-San Francisco Chronicle

A riveting tour-de-force, Colman Domingo is coming to New York with his beautifully passionate, feel-good “A Boy And His Soul”, a journey through Philadelphia, San Francisco and New York with Soul Music. A regular on stages across America, Colman is breathtaking - I saw a production of ABAHS in California, and was absolutely blown away! If you want to have fun, be moved to tears, laugh your ass off, this is it!!! And it helps to say that he looks good in a tank ;) Deliciously delightful!
