From Mozart to Mainstream, eclectic is the way to describe Monica Blaire. As a child classical training in the arts helped her to develop skill and a true love for music and it’s influence. As time passed hip-hop became the love of her life and her many musical influences collided to make a truly unique MC/Singer/ Songwriter. Working with Motown greats form Marcus Belgrave, Sylvia Moy, and Ortheia Barnes to modern day movers and shakers Carl Craig, PAJAM, Theo Parrish, PPP and Waajeed , and Bizarre (of D-12) this woman is poised for versatility and greatness. In addition to choreographing, styling, and staging for various artists, her writing credits include Ramiyah, The J Moss project, Vanessa Williams, numerous R&B up and comings and tons of Hip Hop All Stars. Firmly routed in the sound of early soul music and inspired by an unconventional sense of rhythm and melodies, Blaire is more than an artist. She is an experience.
Kameron Corvet’s trajectory from vocalist, to acoustic and electric guitarist, to producer and songwriter is not mirrored by many. This well-rounded perspective gives his musical approach a depth that is experienced when listening to any of his work. Postman Music is an uplifting mix of modern hip-hop, vintage soul and pure reggae combined with R&B and blues. The Platinum Debut album Documents, was critically acclaimed, contained different hit singles and received many prestigious music awards. On stage Postman is known as one of the best live acts around. Postman has a solid and energetic live reputation having performed at several renowned stages & festivals in Europe.
Throughout the last decade the essence of Postman hasn't changed: Spreading a contagious, positive vibe combined with a message in the Music. Besides his own Postman Projects, Remon/Postman did a lot of writing & producing for other Major Label signed European Artists. Also his company 'Social Life' was involved with numerous projects as with Amnesty international and organizing seminars/workshops at youth prisons and refugee shelters. .
In his new hometown New York, Postman is currently finishing his 5th album at Electric Lady Studios. The album carries the working title "Gentleman's Agreement" and will be released on EMI Records fall 2008.
