The Global AIDS Alliance is a leader in shaping policy discussions and mobilizing coalition-based campaigns to break through bureaucratic inertia and speed the pace of the global response to HIV/AIDS-earning a well-deserved reputation for holding decision-makers accountable and encouraging concerned citizens to demand political action, with a focus on the growing crisis of orphans and vulnerable children. Fourteen million children have already lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS-the equivalent of every child under five in America-and the epidemic is expected to orphan 25 million children by 2010. www.globalaidsalliance.org www.sashalazard.com www.unityanthem.com
