The producing team of burlesque queens Anita Cookie, Clams Casino and host Neil O'Fortune (producers of last year's hits Killer Queen Burlesque and Borderline Burlesque: Midnight Madonna Madness) bring together an all-star cast for a night of striptease, live music and comedy dedicated to the Jackson family's titanic range of pop hits, from the Jackson 5 to Michael to Janet, maybe even Jermaine—and their 40 years of pop culture craziness.
Tonight's performance features:
Anita Cookie, Bunny Love, Clams Casino, Darlinda Just Darlinda, GiGi La Femme, Neil O'Fortune, Peekaboo Pointe, Shelly the Singing Siren, Tigger!
Anita Cookie is one of New York's favorite burlesque performers; combining singing and dancing with comedy and bump 'n' grind she can be seen performing and hosting at shows throughout the city, including frequent performances with Pinchbottom Burlesque, Wasabassco Burlesque and Revealed Burlesque. A Golden Pastie Award winner at the New York Burlesque Festival, she is also a frequent collaborator; as one half of the Drunk 'n' Dirty Duo with Peekaboo Pointe, performing at the Palace of Wonders in Washington DC, and with her comedy partner Scott Rayow. As a producer, Anita was one-half of the team behind The Night Cap, New York's only burlesque-variety talk show, and producer and star of Anita's Underground at the Under St. Mark's Theater and Public Assembly.
Clams Casino, called a "Burlesque Queen" by The New York Times, is a nationally recognized performer and one of New York's favorite stars of the bump 'n' grind. This past summer Clams joined a very small and exclusive club when she was the winner of two coveted trophies, for "Most Innovative" and "Most Comedic" at the World's only international burlesque competition, the 2008 Miss Exotic World Pageant, sponsored by the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. Along with dozens of stages across New York City she has also performed in Las Vegas, Boston, Washington DC, and around the country. Clams is also a Golden Pastie Award winner at the New York Burlesque Festival, and nationwide producers clamor for the chance to book her on their stages. Clams has been featured in Italian Glamour, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New York Post, The Village Voice, Time Out New York, Las Vegas Review Journal, the Arizona Republic, and many more.
