She is the last of a dying breed of women artist expressing with Hip Hop especially in the NYC area. She may be the most appreciative as well as under appreciated. Her fury of expression explore so many emotions.
One song may express many sides of the dynamics of this South African woman. I personally value each recording released as well appreciate every performance I can witness. As she progress her peers fall. Jean Grae may be unaware of her essence in Hip Hop NOW is more while the female realm is becoming lesser. Jean Grae, now more than ever became the premiere female artist in Hip Hop.
