Janis Siegel, 9 time Grammy Winner and 17 time Nominee, orginal and current member of The Manhattan Transfer will make her Joe’s Pub debut in an eclectic program of song encompassing songs ranging from writers such as Bjork, Stevie Wonder, Nellie McKay and Raul Midon to Gershwin, Sondheim, Berlin and Mercer.
She will be performing selections from her latest solo effort, the latin-tinged “A Thousand Beautiful Things” in addition to songs from the Great American Songbook.
The Janis Siegel Quartet will feature Edsel Gomez on piano, Drew Gress on bass and Steve Hass on drums.
