Upright Cabaret Takes Manhattan

This weekend, May 1-4, Upright Cabaret, the wildly popular Los Angeles theatrical showcase features an eclectic mix of artists from stage, screen and recording, returns to Joe's Pub in Manhattan to present a trio of shows entitled "Upright Cabaret takes Manhattan" featuring some of the best talent working in New York City.

This new generation cabaret currently on MTV News and next week in OK! Magazine, and T.V. Guide, has been refining the cabaret milieu for a younger, more hip audience. Upright seeks to celebrate old style cabaret while simultaneously turning it on its ear, bringing young Broadway and Hollywood together in an intimate live setting.

These incredible concerts in NYC feature an eclectic cast lead by the beautiful Tracie Thoms (Rent, CBS's Cold Case, Devil Wears Prada, Grindhouse) will feature Brooks Ashmanskas (The Producers, Gypsy), Natalie Belcon (Avenue Q), Kyle Beltran, The Broadway Boys, Alex Covington, Aisha de Haas (Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk, Caroline or Change, Rent), Natascia Diaz (Helen Hayes Award Winner), Leo Ash Evens, Brooke Fox, Jill Ginsberg, Montego Glover (The Color Purple, Memphis), Ritter Hanz, Josh Henry, Capathia Jenkins (Caroline or Change), Adam Kantor (Rent), Chad Kimball, Michael Longoria (Jersey Boys), Audra Mae, Emily Matheson, Steve Mazurek, Merrick McMahon, John-Eric Parker, Valarie Pettiford (Tony Nominee Fosse), Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys, Radiant Baby), Lucas Steele, Shayna Steele (Rent, Hairspray), Jamison Stern, Anne Fraser Thomas, Tracie Thoms (CBS Cold Case, Rent, Grindhouse), Rema Webb (The Lion King), and many more!
