The hit, online television series THE BATTERY'S DOWN, will be presenting an evening of musical comedy at Joe's Pub entitled: SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE: musical comedy... rethought.
Concertgoers can expect to see some original numbers, comedy sketches, campy Broadway gems, video shorts, a premiere of Nick Blaemire's "All About Me" from Episode 11 of THE BATTERY'S DOWN, and most importantly - some improvised musical numbers from audience suggestions!
The evening is directed by Connor Gallagher with musical direction by Adam Laird and is produced by Jake Wilson and Jason Knight.
The concert will feature the talents of Todd Buonopane (SPELLING BEE, 30 ROCK), Sas Goldberg (STUNNING), Anne Horak (WHITE CHRISTMAS), Jessica Hershberg (IDAHO!), Morgan James (GODSPELL workshops), Michael Lowney, Tyler Maynard (THE LITTLE MERMAID, ALTAR BOYZ), Marla Mindelle (SOUTH PACIFIC, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE), Ana Nogueira (KNIVES AND OTHER SHARP OBJECTS), Brynn O'Malley (WICKED, HAIRSPRAY), Vanessa Ray (SPELLING BEE), Dani Spieler (LEGALLY BLONDE), Dana Steingold (SPELLING BEE), Nina Sturtz, Alysha Umphress (MAKE ME A SONG) and Jake Wilson (THE BATTERY'S DOWN).
