MusicSnobbery.com Presents: Ravens & Chimes and Mia Riddle -- Indie-tastic music blog MusicSnobbery.com found home-grown talent for the Spring installment in his series at Joe's Pub. Ravens & Chimes have been busy this year working on the follow-up to their epic, yet elegant debut, Reichenbach Falls, so expect new material during their performance. The band earned accolades from Leonard Cohen, who approved of the band's version of "So Long, Marianne." Opening the show is Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Mia Riddle, who's album Tumble and Drag, is a must listen to for fans of roots-rock and Americana. Be on time and be prepared to fall in love with Mia's Hope Sandoval via Neko Case vocal stylings.
