"Its been a long time since 3-part harmonies this lush were yoked to songs this melodically gorgeous."
-Boston Herald
When the three singer-songwriters, Rich Price, Greg Naughton & Brian Chartrand came together in 2007 for a chance jam-session, they discovered a little bit of magic that -- despite their geographical differences and solo-careers -- was hard to ignore...
With lush three-part harmonies and strong lyrical song-writing, The Sweet Remains (and their debut CD, "Laurel & Sunset") was officially born in 2009 and quickly garnered comparisons to earlier folk-rock "super-groups" like Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Eagles, etc. And while these influences are joyously celebrated in TSR's sound -- along with those of more current emissaries of the "singer-songwriter" genre, like Ray Lamontagne, or John Mayer -- the songs, harmonies and personalities that comprise this new "super-group" are uniquely their own. In an age of solo-artists and bands driven by single-writers, The Sweet Remains is an authentic and exciting new force on the scene, inspiring USA TODAY and others to hail them as a new artist to watch. Or as METROMIX put it: "If you have a chance to see these guys live, do!"
