So, she makes me laugh. So, she can take off her dress and do a concert in her bra and panties without blinking an eye.

BUT...she does that and still belts out an incredibly moving and powerful tune. She's an all-around amazing performer.

is the way she balances an incredibly vulgar and punkasfuck stage persona with sweetness and vulnerability. Millie Jackson strikes me as an absolutely natural and inspired choice for her and Kenny to base a show around; Jackson's songbook allows for so much riffing and emotion. I get the feeling that I'm gonna be seeing this twice, at least.
