Outstanding vocalist Capathia Jenkins and award-winning composer Louis Rosen launch their exciting collaboration with two concerts featuring the world-premiere of Phenomenal Woman, a song cycle set to the words of the extraordinary American poet and writer, Maya Angelou, as well many other songs by Mr. Rosen. Capathia most recently concluded the Broadway run and national tour of Caroline, Or Change, and has appeared on Broadway in Bacharach and David's The Look of Love and Civil War. Rosen's songs and theater music have been performed on and off-Broadway, at regional theaters around the country, and in cabarets around New York, including three previous evenings devoted to his songs at Joe's Pub. Rosen and pianist David Loud join Capathia in performance.
